Just a quick post to say that I think that the errors that you and I have been encountering when trying to leave comments or when clicking on links on my blog has been resolved. I finally had time to contact tech support. In short order, the tech found an extra / in one of the lines of code. He removed the slash and now all seems fine. But please let me know if you get that dreaded “This is a bit embarrassing, isn’t it?” message again.
On another note, we have had dismal Internet service for a couple weeks and I have been unable to post. But this may have been resolved, too, so look for a new post soon. Probably Sunday unless our service goes down due to yet another lightening strike on the provider’s tower.
Thanks, I’ll write more soon. Fred
It all seems to be working OK again! Good to see the progress. We filled in our time waiting for the next update by pouring 44 eighty-pound sacks of concrete for our back porch. We cheated a little as we used a mixer instead of the traditional Panamanian approach of turning it over by hand but we have some appreciation of the labor y’all are putting in. 🙂

Hi Jim and Nena,
Yes, work, work, work. By my calculations that was 3,520 pounds of concrete not including the water! Keep up the hard work. We’ve been handling heavy sheets of container siding to make walls in other places. I’m glad that we currently have three guys helping! Fred
Wow,good to hear from ya,we where getting ready to send out a search party.
Glad to hear you folks are ok,missed your updates.
We just cut the driveway to our property on Monday,Sept 23rd and cleared of a 60′ by 60′ pad for our container home, so let the games begin.
Have a good one.
Thanks Frank. It felt good to sit on a lazy, rainy Sunday and pound out a post. Thanks for hanging by your thumbs. Good luck with your project. May it be on budget,on time, and without accidents.Fred
I’ve also worried about you guys! Thanks for getting back to all of us and good luck with your next phase. Can’t wait to see the latest!! The long delay in updates deepens my curiosity and anticipation. “Been keeping me wai-ai-ai-ai-ai-ii-ting!
Hi Steve,
Wait no more! As long as the Internet stays up and the tower doesn’t get lightening-struck yet again, I’ll post more often. Thanks for persisting with me… Fred
An anthem or theme for the two of you! You seem to be living it!! These are the good old days!
